here are a few basic things you need to consider.
1. This is the internet.
Don't completely trust a soul on here. This is the internet so anyone and everyone can make things up. So don't go biting people because someone told you that you are a vampire.
2. When in doubt, you are human.
If you think you /might/ be something other than human, chances are you are simply human. This isn't a bad thing and it doesn't mean you haven't been something else in another life or could become something else later on. Being human is not stupid or dull or dumb. That is like believing all people who have five fingers on both hands are dumb so you chop off one. Being who you are is extremely important and "cool" because there isn't a being out there like you. Take pride in that your soul is unique even if your species isn't.
If you were "something else" it would be quite obvious. There aren't "hidden" signs of being a true vampire or werewolf. Those things are quite clear. If you do feel some of the "signs" of being one critter or another it is likely because you share an affinity with that species or have been that species in a past life. It doesn't mean you /are/ that species now. Now you are human, but your soul has been other things before.
3. Be honest with yourself.
I know most of you are like I have been at one point in my life. You want to be something different, you want to be special. You feel like you have to be and that is why life just doesn't seem right... right? The hard truth of the matter is: that is life. Most of you here seeking to find your "true self" are in your teens. What you are feeling is how everyone feels at your age. Yes, I know, you don't want to hear that you are just like everyone else. You think you are different. What you feel is different. It isn't. You feel a bit of neglect from the world, out of place, like you have a certain connection with something, and so on.
If you want real answers on here, which there are some, be honest with yourself as well as mildly honest with those you ask. Don't trick yourself into wholly believing a lie you put out for us to believe. I don't mean that you can't ever say that you are something on here, that isn't my business. I mean that you need to remember to not buy into your lies and get yourself in a mentally bad place.
4. Be Safe!
Never, ever, ever, ever meet up with anyone from a site like this, give personal information. You may think you know someone but you can never be sure. Please don't let us hear that one of you is dead in a ditch somewhere.
